I owned a Giulia Nuova which we modified to look like an earlier model, and with a 2 litre engine with Colombo and Bariani camshafts, big-bore exhaust, LSD, uprated suspension, Minilite wheels, etc. I was registered on the forum as UKAlfisti but unfortunately have failed miserably to get my original Log-In back. I think there are still photos of my car on the site however. Unfortunately I spent far too much money on that Giulia, and really should have started with a better car. I must confess that it put me off for some time, and then 3 years working in Albania really stopped any plans for more Alfa activities. I did have a fantastic underground garage which would have been so ideal to work on a new project, but my mechanical skills are very limited and Albania simply wasn't the place to get expert help. Oh, and certainly my old Giulia was far too low to get up and down the slope into the garage, let alone the pot-holed roads! Anyhow, now I'm in Nepal for the next 3 years and so any great dreams I have of really trying to get my dream Giulia are once again on hold. It's going to drive me mad driving a Land Rover around for the next 3 years however, and would love to stay in touch with some fellow Giulia enthusiasts. Oh yes, I am still in the market for any unusual Giulia related memorabilia, especially (but not exclusively) Ti Super or road-race car related.
